Photo from earlier this year for a cheeky overnighter shakedown ride.

Hoping to ride this down the country come the summer time but we’ll see where life takes us

Down the country meaning the USA north to south? Make it happen!

God I wish! But no, I forget I’m not geotagged on here, but I mean NZ so a cheeky 1600km odd (about 1000miles or so) excursion

Oh cool, NZ must be real nice for a tour.

I think it would be a good idea to add an image for this community, i never posted anything here before because i wasn’t sure what this was about, if this may have been a community created by community hoarders that i had read about. With an image is more inviting i think.

Yeah, I’ll be honest I had no intention of being a mod but I missed the subreddit so bit the bullet. I’ll try to spice it up a bit this weekend.

NZ is beautiful and has some excellent trails and routes. I do get jealous sometimes seeing some of the routes around America though, especially the more arid areas which we don’t really have an analogue for here.

Yeah, thanks for doing it though. I would have done it if i wasn’t on tour and only had a phone, actually tried creating a community but couldn’t figure out how from within jerboa.

Maybe you could also invite the bikepackers in the description. Unlike the /c/[email protected] community which tells you to leave your panniers at home, because obviously it’s about the things you buy, not about the activity. Definitely would like to see a broader umbrella with these few people.

And yeah america sure has some crazy cool looking places to cycle in.
