That said, the Arch beginner’s guide is fantastic. If you can follow instructions, you’ll have a working system by the end. You won’t get that super customized desktop you probably saw someone post, but you’ll get a working system, and you could get that super customized desktop on pretty much any distro anyway.

And nowadays there’s also https://github.com/archlinux/archinstall which works fine for most basic setups
I’ve had friends pick up EndeavourOS pretty quickly. The last time I uninstalled it I was set up and ready to do whatever in like an hour.
