I have only ever used those mods for random unrelated things.

I remember grinding wheat into flour, adding water to make dough, and then adding lime dye to make slimeballs because I really can’t be bothered to go and hunt for slimes. I think that recipe was from Pam’s HarvestCraft? At least the dough was.

And the only time I’ve used Cooking for Blockheads is when me and a friend built a giant nuclear reactor and needed a large supply of water to cool it. It turns out the Sink from Cooking for Blockheads provides infinite water that you can just pipe straight into the reactor chamber. Nice.
