I wanted to share this design, which uses a magma trapper, heat injector, and counterflow all designed by Saturnus (from the official forums and discord). Some details are provided in the linked imgur gallery, but I don’t go too in depth in there. Feel free to ask any questions and I’ll answer to the best of my ability.
Mostly I just wanted to post SOMETHING so that this community isn’t entirely empty. Hopefully we can start growing this community as an alternative to the subreddit.
My god that is one of the most complex boiler designs I’ve seen. What is the benefit of this compared to the typical heat injector + counterflow designs? It’s an impressive engineering feat for sure.
