minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink3•1 year ago Mozilla has finally blessed Intel graphics hardware with the open-source VA-API video decode stack to enable that hardware acceleration by default. Think it’s enabled by default now. But yeah, I’ve also had Firefox with VAAPI working with Intel Arc for a while too, I just had to set some stuff in about:config.
This makes no sense to me. I’ve had h264 decoding on Firefox with VAAPI for years.
