It makes no sense, no sense at all, telling people to be less cautious. My risk profile is pretty fucking high since I’m a mountaineer and all and while I don’t necessarily have a beacon on me at all times, I’ve never once discouraged anyone ever, at anytime, from having one on them. You only get one life.
