I’ll read long posts in either format, but the fragmented format of chained microblog posts, or threads, is mildly distracting at times.
People choose platform and adapts to them (chooses Insta and records video in that format, Twitter and post as much or as little as allowed, per post), instead of choosing expression and, after, a platform that best suits it.
Has to do with: 1) Where are those who I want to follow? 2) Where is it more promissing to be more visible? 3) Random platform, as if needing to be somewhere.
