I wonder if it understands that comics are read from left-to-right, or if it thinks we go top to bottom? It looks like this comic is slightly out of order (ignoring the numbers), just looking at the progression of the guy, frames 3 & 2 should be swapped. Not that it’d actually make anymore sense.
It doesn’t “understand” anything in the way we usually use that word. It created an image based on inputs that fits a predictable output. Trying to draw any more information from it than that is probably hopeless.
