My guess is that Arteta shouted at him to calm down and stop being obnoxious (or something like that). And between the slight language difference (Spanish to Portuguese) and all the other noise going on, and the fact that he was all wound up and looking for an excuse to be outraged, he interpreted it as something totally different.
