Over the past week, a surge of targeted hateful and violent posts on fringe and mainstream platforms have ignited what some on the far-right are calling “GamerGate 2.0,” which, like its predecessor, includes virulent antisemitism, misogyny, racism, and calls for violence.
TBH I understand you perfectly. There are too many bad news these days, but - for whatever it is worth - I attempt to see the good in the bad, even though I am not all that convinced myself most of the time.
I swear im not wired, or I didn’t got my account of shit, I guess.
You are brave.
Love that,
Thank you for the kind words, but I don’t think I am particularly brave. The main difference between you and me may be that I was around for GamerGate 1.0 and I recognize some of the differences between then and now. While GamerGate 2.0 is - without doubt - dangerous and terrifying, it is far less chaotic than 1.0 and that makes is somewhat easier for me to deal with it.
