Also forgot the basic of basic I heard: 1 lb. of white sugar per gallon of water. Pitch bread yeast over the top and then let it sit for 6-8 days. Then do a stripping run and then a spirits run.
(Not a distiller myself; space, money, and licensing make that… impractical for the time being. Just enthusiastic)
