Edit:

The original title of my post was

“Anyone know what these little shards would be I found in my can I got from 2 Crows Brewery?”

and the text below said

"I’m not sure if it’s glass or some kind of settlement that accumulated at the bottom.

It is rather hard. I can’t crush it easily with my fingers and it doesn’t feel sharp enough to cut me. It has a pink colour to it."

but I contacted 2 Crows and they got back to me really quick.

They are wine crystals!

I had never heard of them before.

I edited the title because I don’t want people to be concerned. I love 2 Crows.

Serves ya right for drinking that weak sauce. 4.4%? Middle school mixers have punch that’s spiked stronger. How do they make that, anyhow? Leave juiceboxes in the sun?

It’s not a problem if you don’t think it as one :)

You know Canada is known for having strong beer right?

Is it though? Never heard any country being known for strong beer.

It depends where you are ordering from but a lot of craft breweries commonly have beers above 10%

IPAs are arguably British I guess, but it’s quite a stretch to generalize that to a whole country.

Canada isn’t known for having strong beer, it’s known for not having beer as weak as the USA.

This comes from some states having laws that allow lower ABV beers to be sold more easily, so it’s more common to see.

I was talking relatively to the US. Even then it’s about on par with the rest of the world. It’s not substantially weaker like the other comment was implying
