In a major poll of South Carolina registered voters, 71% of South Carolina voters, including a majority of Republicans, believe the government should stay out of trans youth care.
But this is exactly the purpose of creating single-issue voters. They may not agree with many of the GOP’s positions, but they’ll still vote R anyway because of abortion/guns/jesus/etc.
