I don’t want to post too much and spoil for people who haven’t watched it yet, but I can’t believe the season is already over. The table settling in the final episode is great, but the almost spiteful desire to show this is its own timeline by making some very permanent decisions seems to remove some of the layers of complexity that made the original story line so good.
Only thing improved from s1 was the the visual. Terrible writing overall. The story did not do justice to Kai and she looked like a complete idiot. Remember when Riz fell off the cliff into water? Why the fuck was she choking on water? Mjolnir was not even water resistant? The final fight with the arbiter was poorly made. Did Cortana help at all? No master chief POV? It was even worse than some earlier fights in the season. It seemed like they just want to get it over with.
