I see these wooden countertops in British home improvement and architecture shows. I’ve never seen it in the US. They’re almost always either composite, stone, or that horrible fiberboard/laminate material.
I’m curious what the upkeep must be like. Do they have to be constantly re-oiled or something? How do you keep them clean?

Looks like laminated board not real wood.
