Reason for asking: In the Microdosing Handbook, the author says that atypical antipsychotics should theoretically render mushrooms ineffective because they block the 5-HT2A serotonin receptors that psilocin acts upon.
I’m on Vraylar. However, when I took 0.5 grams of shrooms, I definitely felt some mild sensory and cognitive effects.
I didn’t notice any particular effects that I would attribute to the shrooms honestly. I honestly had a mood downturn because I was frustrated and pissed off that they had no effect even though I had stopped taking the abilify like 3 days beforehand
