Republicans want to cut Social Security benefits and protect the 1% from paying their share in taxes; Democrats know we can afford to raise benefits.

The fix is simple, just raise taxes! I pay enough in taxes, I pay for my fair share. I would rather end social security and have a private retirement account. Increasing my taxes, once again just shows what a scam it is.

      Social security would best be solved by private retirement accounts. That would solve the problem quickly.

          Problem is solved. Just move everything to private funds. Instead of the grand Ponzi scheme we have now

              It doesn’t solve anything. It just increases taxes.

              Either that or raise the percentage and let everyone pay more. If you think it has value. You should be willIng to pay more for it. Right now it’s 12.5. Raise it to 20%
