Exactly. Look at Helldivers 2. I’ve put in several hours over the last few weeks. Playing a few nights a week for 4-5 hours past my usual sleep time. There is no FOMO because the rewards are always there. But I really want to keep playing because of friends. It’s just fun, even when you get a shitty drop on a planet and die like 15 times in the first 5 mins.
