Not specifically touring related, but I’m on the lookout for some reasonably fast, but also puncture resistant tyres for my gravel bike. My tourer has the standard Schwalbe Marathons, which are as bombproof as their reputation suggests. But they aren’t exactly the fastest rolling tyres.

In between touring, I ride a mix of road and off road stuff on my gravel bike. I’m currently running Panaracer Gravel kings, which roll lovely, but god damn I get so many punctures.

So far I have done tubes, tubes with sealant, tubeless and every other ride seems to be cut short by a puncture.

What are you guys recommendations for a fast, but tough tyre?

Hey, you should have posted this in the new Casual Chat thread, haha.

I am using Schwalbe Almotion and i am quite happy with them. Will keep buying them i think. I have only ever had the rare pinch flat, when i was riding rocky stuff and had too low tyre pressure. They’re a quite a bit lighter and i feel like they roll better than Marathons.
