The only person laughing is usually the person who made the joke and it’s generally just irritating to everyone else who just wants to get on with their day. I might feel differently if we like, got the day off work for April Fools Day I guess

One of my coworkers told everyone to have a great 3 day weekend. I wasn’t aware of a 3 day weekend so when I checked the calendar, Monday was April 1st. I thought it was actually a very good prank because I almost believed it. Turned out it really was a 3 day weekend because of Cesar Chavez day so technically, we did get the day off on April Fools.
