This is what happens when you privatise water (or anything?)!

I also wouldn’t mind paying if I knew it was going to improve things, but currently I don’t trust these people as far as I can throw them.

I would. We have been paying since the 1980s. Well I have you may be younger.

I am pissed that venture capatalism was allowed to buy the companies. Sell off and refuse to invest in inferstructure. Then bail out leaving a mess.

In no way should the companies or any share holders be allowed to profit from this. To do so is just government welfare removed directly from the least able. And paid to gamblers without the self responsibility to consider the facts of their bet.

Allow it to go bankrupt. Even if the UK gov has to provide water and sewage services via military support.

Once the shares are worthless nationalise the inferstructure. And rebuild.

In no way should any government allow profit from the behavior of these companies.

If privatisation is so wonderful. Then why the hell every single time we have given it a monopoly. Has it cost tax payers more for less. The whole argument that profit motivates efficency is utter bollocks when a monopoly of any kind is involved.

Lets face it. The whole anti nationalisation debate it bunk. Nothing a privrate org dose cannot be copied by nationalised organisations.

The only difference is we know to blame ministers when nationalised orgs give bad service.

Privrate or charitable organisations give those government ministers someone else to pass blame to. When the ministers are still responsible for how the public inferstructure is managed.
