Blind Guardian (earlier stuff was primarily speed metal) Unleash the Archers Unlucky Morpheus I hesitate to recommend Iced Earth since the bandleader is a raging POS but they fit the bill Nightwish is more symphonic than power but they’re top notch and might scratch that itch

minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink1•8 months ago power metal If you let hardcore bleed into the selection a bit, here are some favorites: Pantera Godsmack NIN (Broken EP has more power metal in it than industrial, see “Last”) Rollins Band (End of Silence is so great) Hatebreed (Concrete Confessional and Supremacy) Chimaira Lamb of God (dubiously power, more death but that’s ok)
