My “aunt” recently got diagnosed with some sort of cancer. Now, I barely know anything about this lady but she’s really close to my mom & her side of the family. So, me & my older brother, who she barely knows (30), was smoking a really nice joint on a beautiful day and she comes up to us to talk about “how bad weed is.” We don’t argue back because it’s a never ending loophole lol. But she comes out of the blue & says she has cancer & her wish is for us to not smoke until she passes away. Now this “cancer” she has… apparently it was caught in its earliest stages so there’s some good out of her situation. Her statement about cancer hit my brother pretty hard & now he’s questioning whether or not to stop. I tell him “I barely know the lady. Plus we don’t know how long she has to live. It could be 1 year, 2 years, 5 years, or even 10years… that’s too long for me bro.” Those were my exact words. What do you guys think? Was I harsh? I tell him that we barely even know the lady & she wants us to stop smoking even though we live states away lol. But he’s stuck & I would love to hear you guys input!
Stopped smoking cigarettes for my wife, we both get high though
