    They do presumably have the cyclops and antipodes sub, but they can’t reach anywhere near the depths of the titanic.

                His wife stands to inherit everything from what I read. If that happens SpaceX could easily be sold off. Imagine Boeing being able to just buy and close down their prime rival in this sector.

                    At this point SpaceX is basically the space program for the US. The entire Artemis program depends on them, almost every government agency launch depends on them, and every rival they have is going to be pushed into the future because of them. If they go under we are back on ULA and you can kiss goodbye all of space science.

                    The situation is bad but once Starship launches and gets certified for humans I expect everyone else will have to adapt and they won’t have a monopoly anymore.
