I haven’t kept up since last year but I’ve looked at a couple bits of information here and there.
The RTX 3060 Ti seems to be in a pretty good place right now with the entire 4000 series overpriced for the provided performance.
I’d also take a look at AMD’s current GPUs to compare price-performance with the understanding that they don’t ray trace quite as well and won’t have access to DLSS, although FSR 2.0 is pretty good when available.
The specific card depends on your budget, current PSU and the draw on that PSU, and possible discounts from retailers.
