No worries, though, to me this is still “in testing” (though after using it last night I feel a lot more comfortable with it).
That is freaking fantastic. I can see that you posted a comment at 6:15, but I still didn’t see the automated post as of 7:00 (I can see it now, tho). Maybe it has to do with federation since I’m on lemmy.ml. I have an idea how to avoid missing it tonight. I’m excited about the bot (and our playoff chances, ofc).
Oh, good point, federation might introduce delays. I made the bot’s account on lemmy.world, as that is where this community is hosted, to try to reduce links in the chain. Also, someone (actually the bot’s author, looking to see how it was working for us) posted in the previous game’s thread, so that might have bumped that thread up over this one.
