This episode didn’t really do much for me unfortunately, I don’t mind the idea of focusing on this subplot for an episode before going back to Genosha situation but the content of the episode just didn’t work for me. Last episode packed in so much and it somehow never felt rushed meanwhile so little happened this episode and somehow it felt very poorly paced.

I found it difficult to care for the Xavier stuff in space, maybe its because I don’t have nostalgia for the character but I felt very disconnected from the setting and the characters, felt like I was thrown in second half of an arc that I’m completely unfamiliar with.

Storm’s stuff all sounds good on paper but in execution it felt very half baked to me, it moved way too fast. Also a lot of reused animation, the demon crawling upwards and twisting its head was repeated thrice, I don’t mind clever reuse of animation but this was so blatant it was hard not to notice. Animation quality overall for Storm’s part was quite poor.

Oh well, I hope the next episode is a return to form.
