The renaming honors legendary drag performer Darcelle, also known as Walter Cole, who died March 23 at age 92, city officials announced Friday.

    i hope they do something nice there, it was a great place to chill for lunch after getting lunch at the carts… which are now gone/moved :(

    but now it’s surrounded by houseless folks, and i think there’s a facility for houseless just across the street.
