After last January’s 737 MAX-9 blowout AND added scrutiny since the MAX groundings, is the FAA actually effective at overseeing Boeing now?

    The problem is the reputational damage. Remember not everyone is USA. For example why would this other country’s aviation industry choose between Airbus and Boeing, when there is no incentive and possibly liability awaiting for the latter.

    We even have flight filters to filterd and choose non 737 max planes. US government might prop up Boeing but remember the market will eventually decide
