A bit unrelated: I want to send a friend who is tech illiterate a playlist. She has no subscription on any plateforme. Short of sending her a CD or a USB key, what would be the best way to send her a playlist?
This is kind of weird but sentimental: you can buy a iPod shuffle (or whatever) on ebay for cheap and put the songs on there. My husband resells stuff, and he sells them all the time. Granted, she would need iTunes to manage it, but that’s free and hopefully user-fiendly? Or you could just give her the shuffle, and she never has to plug it into the computer, just enjoy the music and charge it!
You could try to find the songs on youtube and put them in a playlist there, that should be easy to share.
Or better yet, selfhost them with navidrome and use their experimental media share, or just make her an account on it.

This is an awesome idea! Or any basic music players would do actually. I was so stuck on softwares I didn’t think of those, thank you!

Haven’t heard of navidrome. I’ll check it out, thanks!
