What Linux distribution or distributions do you personally use?

I myself am a daily Void user. I used to use Devuan, but wanted to try rolling release and ended up loving Void!

I moved 3 of my 4 PCs over to Mint. I still can’t make the move for my gaming PC yet.

I game on Mint. Granted, I’m also a patient gamer. But in general I’ve never found a game I wanted to play that didn’t run. Newer or older. They all run. But I also avoid mtx fests and AAA whale hunters. So I don’t cry for their absence.

It’s not so much the game compatibility, but the hardware. I want to use VR more, and steam VR is a bit rougher than in Windows, at least in my experience. And I have had some troublesome experience with using 8bitdo pro controllers. But that was also on Ubuntu 20.04, so I guess it’s not quite an analogous situation.

That’s true. VR on Linux is not mature yet. I haven’t considered because I’m too poor to afford the hardware. So it rarely hits my radar.

I wouldn’t consider it mature anywhere at this point.

I have a Bigscreen Beyond on order and currently run my HTC Vive, so VR is somewhat important for me to be able to run. I don’t know if there’s other communities or forums that are actively working on Linux VR. It’d probably be a good thing for me to look into.
