What’s the difference between Hollywood’s superhero franchises and a cow?

You stop milking a cow after ten years

I smiled to myself before entering the thread and seeing one comment and thought “I bet it’s someone shitting on it”.

If you had gone back in time to when I was a kid and told me one day we’d get a Deadpool/Wolverine movie, I would have been so damn happy. And here we are, it’s here, and people be hating.

Just don’t go watch it, we don’t want to hear it. And they keep milking the cow cause it keeps producing milk. This movie above all recent superhero movies is the most likely to rake in the dough.

I think this might be meaningless but i just wanted to say that i am actually happy for it and i am looking forward to it. I have superhero burnout, but not for this one.

Yeah so the reason you stop is because the cow’s milk production lowers with time so you’re better getting rid of it and getting another cow, it’s not out of kindness.

Though I think the “get another cow” in this analogy would be finding a new franchise to milk. Which knowing how Star Wars is turning out…yeah…

And the thing is, Disney isn’t limited by space or resources, they can milk as many cows as they want for as long as they want.

Statler and Waldorf would be key for any of these movies, and fit right into Stan Lee’s acting shoes

The thing about this cow is there is just so much to milk. So many characters and environments. So much source material. And even an in-universe explanation for inconsistencies, much as I hate the multiverse bullshit
