Chicago's so-called “rat hole” is gone. A Chicago sidewalk landmark some affectionately call the “rat hole” has been removed after city officials determined the section bearing the imprint of an animal was damaged.

    I wish someone would make a mold of the hole and stamp it into the fresh cement when they pour the new slab.

      I say we re-damage the street and force them to redo again and again it until the rat hole is returned to us.
