Hey…I subscribed to Sydney from lemmyworld. But I have noticed there’s been a sync issue perhaps.? Or has Aussie zone defederated from the Lemmy world instance?
I don’t think it’s defederated. What do you mean by sync? Are you not seeing posts/comments? Edit: Do you have this issue with other aussie.zone communities?
Yeah, spot on. on lemmyworld, sorting by new, last post was the ABC gates, then Sydney trains sickie, and one before that is ‘they must have known’ … none of the daily threads are visible…
I also checked my settings and I haven’t blocked any instances or users. Have you changed your user Language settings? I only had Undefined set so I’ve added English as well (so that I have both Undefined and English selected). I don’t know what affect this may have.
That’s great! Does aussie.zone have a tips and tricks or a wiki? That might be something other folks are unaware of. I’ve noticed that the comment count doesn’t always match the number of comments I see and I just assumed it was from folks posting from defederated instances. Maybe it’s a bit of both.

The recent round of dailies this week were posted by myself. Maybe you blocked me?
yeah, nah… no blocked users. checked all settings… weird. I will see what happens over the coming days

Well, whaddyaknow. I ticked english as well on lemmy.world and now I see all the posts.
I checked other Aussie zone communities and it was missing some posts too and now they are showing.

Looking at the posts, it seems that it’s the daily thrwad and a post here and there.
