Imagine if they took their anger out on Romans instead since they were the ones who carried out the execution.
Imagine if they didn’t blame an entire people for the actions of their corrupt leaders.
Also the whole thing might have been entirely fabricated.
Well you see the problem is there aren’t any Romans left to scapegoat.
Technically there are still Romans of a kind. They’re just people who live in Rome, which is just a city not an empire.
