Imagine being Mudryk, watching your woefuly out-of-form teammate from half of last season get bought by the team you wanted to go, score a brace against you as that team batters you 5-0 and extends their lead at the top of the table while you flounder in Cole Palmer FC.
Plus, the backup purchase of that team you wanted to go to - the guy who essentially took your spot and who you’ve been unfavourably compared to all season - also scored a fantastic opening goal against your team in that same thrashing.

To be fair to him, all the evidence pointed to him really wanting to come to Arsenal. But Chelsea were willing to sweeten the pot and we weren’t. My dream is still to see him come to us maybe next season and become our new restoration project after we fix Havertz.
