Yeah, but I’ve been trying to boost that for almost a year. 😥 My goal is to pull my body weight, but I’m plateaued at 40. 45? Fuck no. It’s really frustrating.
I don’t have much advice to offer other than do a lot of pulling. I’m also aiming to get my first pull-up this year :) Working up to it with lat pull-downs and dead hangs.
My goal is to bench and row my body weight (target weight 50kg, current weight 55kg), while squatting and dead lifting 150% of my body weight.
I’ve met my squat and dead lift goals (and then some). My trainer says I was blessed with, and I quote, “sturdy peasant legs”. But I have spaghetti strand arms apparently, so my bench has plateaued at 35, and you know my row.
Someday, though. And despite the frustration, I’m still doing amazingly better than I was when I started this 2½ years ago. (And there’s been amusing things like my SO getting scared by the fact that I can hip thrust his weight … with ease. 🤣)
120lb row :)
Ouch. I can only manage 40kg.
I play a sport with a lot of pulling. 40kg is good!
