    If they wanted to make them last they could adopt the growth model many other games use. Minecraft, valheim, deep rock galactic, warframe, you buy them once and the continue to add new content all the time. I’m more than happy to buy the latest skins in drg because the game is so fucking good all the time. I’m an absolute fan boy for warframe because at this point they’re 35 different games that share your equipment.

    Imagine a world where 12 years in, Bethesda is still selling Skyrim, but they’re actively fixing and expanding it every year. They don’t even need to be creative about it, just open up nexus, call the top 3 mods, and ask if they can make them permanent in the base game.

        If my options are that or 12 more years of Bethesda releasing the same game without even patching the bugs that were there day one, I think I’d like to try something different.

          If taken option 3 and stopped buying Bethesda games.
