Yes, but also no. I don’t know how to get my keycaps off without damaging them so I’ve never really properly cleaned it, but occasionally I blast it with some compressed air to get rid of the dust and stuff that accumulates over time. I don’t do that on any sort of schedule, or even a does it look dirty?, just randomly

I try but it is also extremely gross lol. You can pop the keys off and clean it like that, just make sure you note where the keys are meant to go so you can put it back together.

At my old job (call centre with Computershare) one of my managers had a skin issue? Dandruff maybe? Anyway, he moved elsewhere in the business and I took his desk and computer. There was a thin layer of white dandruff skin all over the keyboard. So I used the sticky part of the office post it notes and cleaned it like that, while trying not to reach so I didn’t embarrass him. 🤢🤢

We had a lovely lady who used to like to eat servo kranskys wrapped in pastry at her desk every morning, along with a collection of other flaky things (admittedly her homemade sausage rolls are missed!). Occasionally I would need to use her work station when she wasn’t in and every time I went to TOWN on everything with disinfectant wipes, sprays, air freshners. She loved always coming back to a clean office, but goddamn did it get disgusting again within a day or two,

Her replacement has beard dandruff. A lot of beard dandruff.

I’m surprised she was even there if she ate any type of hot food from a servo every day. Last time I had hot food from a servo (besides sausage rolls from 7 eleven), the resulting food poisoning was not very fun

Maybe she’s been poisoned so much she’s become immune

She, uh, took a lot of sick days. Watched her shuffle-run to the toilet a few times. Guessing she’s not immune and I hope she’s doing well these days.

Near constantly. Downside of living in a dusty house is that a day after cleaning it, it’s already starting to get dirty again.
