    So… Biden should lean on fascism to do what’s best for the country? Stoop to the level of Republicans? I think a lot of us disagree

      what fascism, Im talking about prosecuting for federal crimes, which is the executive branch’s duty. Trump was committing fascism by having his attorney general not prosecute his federal crimes.

        Isn’t prosecuting crime more of a judicial branch thing?

        Edit: I checked, looks like attorney general is executive branch

        Also, firing the attorney general when they don’t prosecute who you think they should seems pretty bad. Especially when it’s a political rival. Maybe leave that to the person who is not directly impacted by the outcome of the prosecution? Like a checks and balances kinda idea?

          No, the judicial branch oversees trials and makes rulings. In federal court, the executive branch acts as the prosecutor, making the case that federal crimes were committed. They dont decide guilt, they just make the case.

            Yeah thanks for clearing that up, that’s what I read when I actually looked into it further
