I remembered how nasty cooking was with all the grease and smells. Now its just Tofu, yummy

    It’s definitely less of an issue. Not completely gone of course but the filters in my range hood need cleaning less often

      Uhhhh yeah… Cleaning the filters on the hood. We all do that.

      If you’ll excuse me I have something unrelated to take care of…

        I don’t even bother using the hood since it doesn’t vent outside. Though, seeing all these articles about gas stoves being bad for you makes me want to have a functional hood.

          Just because the hood doesn’t vent outside, doesn’t mean it’s useless. Just recirculating the dirty air through the filters goes a huge way in cleaning it up and reducing both smells and particles in the air.

          If you are using a gas stove, be sure to open a window when cooking, so clean air can come in.

          Also if you have a hood that vents outside: You NEED to open a window, otherwise the hood will get overwhelmed by the backflow and will not do anything.
