    Hey cloth trashbags would actually be better for the environment. And by cloth i mean 100% natural fiber like cotton or hemp. None of that polyester crap which probably factors more into the plastic pfas mess than anyone will admit

      My city uses totes. I’ve started lining them with a contractor bag and dumping my trash into that.

      Partly to reduce plastic (re-using the indoor liners until they are too funky to continue). Mostly because the tote is smaller on the bottom than on the top and this results in a lot of void space, and they charge us extra if we go over the tote.

        I kinda do that too, but the trash goes into a “dumpster” i made from a deck box from home depot then that gets hauled the landfill when full. No monthly fee to jack with as i dont generate that much trash per month.
