I hope my title as well as the examples shown in the picture get the idea across of what I’m looking for. Doesn’t matter what the genre is, I am just looking for movies which are shot in this grim lighting.

Also, for fun, try and guess which movies the pictures come from.

    ‘Dark City’ count?

    ‘Paper Man’ is pretty depressing that I remember and I think it’s tone is overall cloudy except for a few bits.

        Ok, in that case, ‘Sucker Punch’ is gloomy as fuck. Best to watch the extended cut of that for proper context.

        ‘Watchmen’, ‘A Scanner Darkly’, ‘Above the Shadows’, ‘The Matrix’, and the Blade Runner flicks.

        All I can think of at the moment.
