as the title said, I am interested to learn Dutch at the moment to communicate with someone I know in te fediverse.
but the question is, where I should start? Common place I would start with, of course is Duolingo. But is there some proper resource to learn?
I’ve been scrolling through anki cards but couldn’t find the most suitable one. I am open to any book resources, but I hope it has the e-book version for me to purchase.

Honestly, I don’t really know any Dutch people who cant speak English at least enough to communicate. And I’m Dutch.
And even still, learning Dutch is actually pretty hard. And I doubt you’ll be able to communicate better in Dutch than he can in English in the foreseeable future.
