    I’m with the vexillologists on this one. Give me a cool flag, not a still generic flag now with words.

      Adding more words to our flag to make it unique is such a poor idea I’m going to make draft a better flag and send it to my rep.

      Live Free or Die is the NH state motto coined by Revolutionary War general and former NH man John Stark.

      It was originally used by him as a toast to be raised an the anniversary reunion of the Battle of Bennington when he couldn’t attend. The full quote being “Live free or die: Death is not the worst of evils.”

      That said text on flags is bad.
