As pointed out in this post, this community has only one mod listed (@[email protected]), and they haven’t interacted with Lemmy for 6 months.

Is anyone interested in doing this?

Also, what is even the best way to do this? Should there be multiple mods? Who decides who becomes a mod?

    I’m willing to help out (my current account is pretty sparse, my previous one was @[email protected]). Only concern is I’m not sure if reports federate to mods on external instances. Aside from that, the [email protected] community has very active mods too, they might be open to helping out here.

    Some kind of vote sounds most sensible I guess. Pinned post with the candidates tagged in individual comments comes to mind

    There probably should be multiple mods. But I don’t have the time. I hope someone volunteers!

    I know this is an old post, but to answer the last question - to become a mod of an abandoned community, you generally need to message an instance administrator (in this case, @[email protected]) and request to be added as a mod.
