Worth noting that this data is voluntarily self-reported.

Rich people might be more willing to self report because they aren’t afraid of the consequences if they’re caught.

Sure but this isn’t really new research, there’s been several that suggest “wealth” is more likely to cause bad and cheating behaviour

Ok, but that doesn’t mean you stop critically evaluating the quality of publications.

          Absolutely!

The results aren’t surprising, but the methods are so bad that they should ask for a refund on their education 😝

Because being rich always comes from theft

I did assets protection for target from 2000 to 2004 and a huge portion of my shoplifters were middle age white women that typically had the money to pay for the stuff they stole. Next on the list was kids and I worked in stores in some pretty rough neighborhoods. It’s been a while so I think behaviors have changed a bit but bored housewives were always my biggest problem.

A lot of them stole so often they even knew the dollar amount to keep it a misdemeanor. In Massachusetts at the time 250 or higher was a felony.

I honestly think they don’t see the big deal because the amount is trivial to them.

Some people are so poor, all they have is money.

Because they know they have plausible deniability - why would I steal, I’m rich! And it gives them a thrill.

Also if somehow they do get in trouble for it they can afford the consequences

They even moreso feel like “It’s not my fucking job, I already have a job, so suck it.” than the rest of us.

The employees already lost their jobs to the self checkout registers. If you cared about jobs you should be stealing as much as possible at self checkouts until they are phased out.

The hell are you fussing at me for? I just said rich people don’t care about workers and you’re telling me what I should do if I really care? Fuck off

Lmao no need to be a salty little bitch. The “you” in my last post was generic, not applying directly to you. Obviously you specifically can’t change shit. You can’t even comprehend discourse.
