From first time reaching maps to killing your first Uber boss. From your first home cooked build to trading for your first mirror.
What was the first time you, maybe erroneously, felt a little bit competent in this game? Which league? Doing what?
For me it was in SSF Standard killing Uber Elder deathless the first time. I think it was during Legion league with an Icicle Mine Saboteur. I started playing two leagues before…
That’s the thing, I haven’t.
Really? Never? I’ve felt a little bit competent already quite early when I first saw that you can sell qualitied stuff for quality currency. I though I’ll show them who’s boss! I wrote a little script that takes the quality numbers as input and spits out the combinations I can sell them for a perfect 40.
Of course that wasn’t worth the trouble, but I didn’t know that back then. But imagine all the 1 or 2% qualities I saved that way.
lolol came to say this
Honestly, this league. As a casual who barely does 8-10 hours a week, I finally made it to and first try killed maven. I did it with ea ballista, and it was super smooth. I stopped since that was the goal, hopefully next league is shaper.
The first time I killed shaper on a GC miner a few years ago. Now I’m incompetent with all the new stuff and mechanics and mega endgame content.
Beating The Feared in a week on my second ever league after returning. Sure it’s nothing compared to the people who manage it in a weekend but I got it much faster than all of my peers at that time.
After that has been mostly chasing for 40/40 challenges, particularly in a group self found setting.
When I was able to do piety farming.
Before that I was an idiot because I made currency by vendoring drops and buying wisdom scrolls from other players…
6 leagues in and still waiting for it happen
First Deathless Shaper on a build I made ~seven years ago.
Which was probably around the same time my hands stopped shaking during Shaper 😂First Sirus kill in Ultimatum League with a purpose-made Arc Totem Scion.
