These speeds would have been considered pitiful in 1994, never mind 2024.

    My 56k modem would get 15kbps. What exactly is going on with grandmas connection?

    I had this experience on a previous holiday as well. I’m talking single digits up and down. This year I brought the portable 4g router my partner bought me last Christmas and my speeds have been tolerable for work and casual gaming.

    At least they’re allowing that connection to be made and not timing you out. That’s the worst part about having internet like this.

    What speeds are you getting?

      I added it retrospectively. For some reason, my phone decided to save it as a HEIC, so I had a lot of trouble uploading it.
