As a player of the games, I am happy with the adaptation so far. Ryza’s character comes across and I’m delighted to see the original VAs reprising their roles. My hope for the remaining episodes is that they tone down the thigh shots. I hope they got the fan service out of their system now and can concentrate on the story from now on.
Oh really? I did a cursory search of Hot as I assume that’s where it would be, so I guess I just missed it. Sorry about that!
I’ve tried to play the games, but unfortunately I just couldn’t get into them. I’m glad to hear it’s a faithful adaptation at least, I hope they cover the majority if not all the content then, and I also hope the story is good too.
As for fan-service, I’m not sure they will. It seems Ryza and thighs are somewhat synonymous these days, and I’m sure they’ll play into that as much as they can. But we’ll see I guess.
I liked it. It’s straight to the point.
Was watching with the lads, clocked out a few minutes after the slime scene because we felt it was a bit too slow. Maybe give it a second chance once a few more episodes are out. Sounds fine, art and animation were a bit rushed feeling in some scenes.
